About OneJar
OneJar is a Cyprus-based HR firm. We were founded in 2022 to deliver integrated HR outsourcing — a category that did not exist in Cyprus. Today, we run HR for over 1,000 employees and 18,500 active platform users, for Cyprus SMEs and international companies with Cyprus operations.
How we began
How OneJar came to be
Two ideas drove OneJar's founding in 2022. The first: Cyprus businesses with 10 to 100 employees deserved a real HR function — not a fragmented patchwork of vendors and an overstretched in-house generalist trying to coordinate it all. The second: that function should be delivered by people who'd actually built and run HR before — not by consultants drafting strategy decks.
Andreas Tziarras and Antros Yiasemi co-founded OneJar to act on both ideas. Between them, they had seen Cyprus HR from every angle — as in-house practitioners, as consultants, and as users of every type of external HR vendor. They built OneJar to be the firm they'd wanted to hire themselves.
Three years later, OneJar runs HR for over 1,000 employees — Cyprus maritime groups, premium real estate developers, professional services firms, and international companies operating in Cyprus.

Four positions that shape how we run
Get the basics right first
Too much HR work in Cyprus is fluff — frameworks, decks, sophistication for its own sake — sold at premium prices while the basics go unattended. We won't sell sophistication until the foundations are solid.
Most Cyprus SMEs shouldn't build in-house HR
A single generalist cannot realistically cover all seven HR pillars at the depth a growing business needs. For 10–100 employees, integrated outsourcing is almost always more economic and operationally stronger.
HR strategy without execution is theatre
Strategy decks describe what HR should do. They don't run payroll, draft contracts, handle disciplinaries, or hire the next senior manager. We do the work the decks describe.
Cyprus depth beats global scale
International platforms cover Cyprus on paper without operating in it. They handle the legal infrastructure but miss the practical reality — which office to call, how disputes actually resolve.
